Rīgas satiksme has announced an open tender for the right to distribute e-tickets
Rīgas satiksme invites retailers to apply for an open tender for "Distribution of Riga City Public Transport Smart Cards and Smart Tickets" to ensure the sale of e-tickets in Riga and the Pierīga region. Proposals must be submitted by 10:00 on 2 March 2023.
The tender is divided into several lots based on the population density of the neighbourhoods, the intensity and number of public transport stops, as well as the location of existing ticket vending machines and customer centres in a given neighbourhood.
Tickets will be available as before at more than 400 trade outlets across the city.
